Give the gift of Bodymind Ballwork (mindful myofascial release using rubber balls) and restorative yoga. Anyone over the age of 16 is welcome to attend. Great way to spend mother’s day with family and friends in an intimate setting. Maximum 12 participants. All props provided.

Yoga & Myofascial Release for Runners & Joggers

2 part Workshop with Handouts

Jogger or Runner? Not stretching enough? Have some aches and pains (or wanting to prevent them?) Out of breath sooner than you’d like?

In this 2 part workshop, thru a combination of Yoga and Bodymind Ballwork (myofascial release using various sizes of rubber balls) you will;

  • Learn how to release tension created by running,

  • Improve respiration,

  • Increase self-awareness.

We will cover the obvious (ex. major leg muscles, glutes) and the not so obvious (ex. feet, psoas) and muscles that assist with respiration.

Revive your body. Reduce tension and stuckness while increasing self-awarenss and relaxation. In this series, you will learn how to release tight muscles and connective tissue using a combination of Bodymind Ballwork (employs a variety of rubber balls) and yoga. Each week we will explore different segments of the body as you learn principles of the method. This is appropriate for beginners or althetic/fitness enthusiasts. Athletes and bootcampers – oh, you so need to be here! All props and balls provided.
